How did I get lucky enough to have both kids fall asleep at the same time? This is a rarety at my house since Drew doesn't take naps anymore. I don't even know what to do with myself. It's so quiet! I'm considering going to the store and putting out a bowl of water in case they wake up...

Pay it Forward

I have been on the receiving end of a couple of pay it forward projects and now it's my turn to give back. I will send a little package of goodies to the first 3 people to leave a comment. I think handmade gifts are the best so I will craft together a little somethin' somethin' and send it to you! (Plus it's a good way to see who is really paying attention to my blog. Who doesn't like free stuff?!)

Fun in the sun

Grammy and Papaw just got back from Hawaii and bought the kids these super cute swimsuits. The weather has been really nice here so we decided to break them out and play in the water.

Anteater

I had to call poison control for the first time in my 4 years of motherhood tonight because Avery decided to eat the ant poison we have scattered around the backyard. She is fine and hopefully learned a good lesson on why we don't eat strange things off the ground.

Backyard Fun

Since we couldn't take our old playset with us when we moved, we decided to buy another one for this house because the kids really loved it (and I loved being able to send them outside to play!) Brent and Uncle Cody put it together and the kids have played on it almost everyday. It's nice to have something fun to play on outside!

Fashionista

Here is just a sample of the outfits Avery has chosen this week. I think she's well on her way to the pages of the fashion magazines. Maybe in the "What was she thinking?" section.

(You can't tell but she has on 5 pairs of Drew's underwear.)

I Love You!!

A couple of weeks ago, Drew's class had a Mother's Day tea party and the kids learned this cute little song. In case you can't find him, Drew's on the end (right) in the red pants. He was so proud to perform this song for me. I loved it.

Too hot to handle

This is what Avery picked out to wear today. She rarely wears the same shoes but I did get her to put on a shirt under her sweater to go to the store.

We're going clubbing after her nap.

Me: Drew, your underwear is on backwards.
Drew: I know, I want to be able to see the picture on them.

New Baby

Zane and Bridget welcomed their new baby boy on April 22. His name is Kohen and he was 6 pounds, 2 ounces and 19 inches. He is a little peanut and he's so cute! We love him already. Congratulations, Zane and Bridget!
